Hangman Inky Words ("the app", "we", "us") is developed by Ink Labs. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it's used. We built this game to be as simple and privacy-respecting as possible — there are no accounts, no logins, and no personal profiles.
We don't require or ask for your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, or location. There is no account system and no server-side database of players.
Your level progress, coins, stars, and streak are saved locally on your device only, using standard app storage. This data is never uploaded to us and is not linked to you personally. Uninstalling the app, or switching to a new device, will erase this local data — there is no cloud backup or sync.
The app shows ads (banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads) served through Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob and its partners may collect and use:
On iOS, we ask for your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier is used for personalized ads. If you decline, or on Android where you've opted out, you'll still see ads — just less personalized ones.
Where required (for example, for users in the European Economic Area and UK), we show a consent form powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before requesting ads, so you can choose what you're comfortable with. You can review or change your choice anytime from Settings → Privacy Options inside the app.

Hangman Inky Words is a general-audience word game and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll address it promptly.
We do not sell your data. The only outside party involved is Google, acting as our advertising and consent-management provider as described above.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
